As part of Earth Day Events in the lower Connecticut River, the Old Lyme Land Trust (OLTT) is sponsoring a circumnavigation cruise of Selden Island on Saturday, April 27, at noon.  (Rain date Sunday, April 28, at 1 p.m.)

Selden Island is the largest island in Connecticut and once supported a huge granite quarry, which supplied paving stones to New York City and Philadelphia.  The island also offers a wide variety of flora and fauna, which should be in their early glory at this time of year.

The trip will be led by River Quest and will depart from their Haddam dock.  Bring lunch with you.  OLLT will provide soft drinks and water.

Tickets are $40 per person.  To make a reservation, call or email Ted Mundy of OLLT at 860-434-5674or [email protected].
