The Lyme-Old Lyme (LOL) boy’s cross-country team made history yesterday by winning the Class ‘SS’ state championship for the first time in the school’s history. The boys gave an amazing performance at Wickham Park taking victory in the meet featuring 179 boys from 26 schools, scoring 57 points over runner- Haddam-Killingworth with 74.
Running a magnificent race, Ross Golebiewski came in first, while the results for the remainder of the LOL team were:
- Stuart Ross 9th
- Cole McKnight 10th
- Jacob Watts-St. Germain 14th
- Nicholas Milazzo 23rd,
- Jeff Davis 37th
- Jack Castonguay 39th.
