D18 Deregionalization, Open Space Top Agenda at OL Selectmen's Meeting There was standing room only Monday morning when around 50 people turned out for the Old Lyme Board of Selectmen meeting, despite its early start at 7:30 a.m. Two unrelated agenda items had drawn the unusually large crowd. The first was the presentation of a petition seeking the creation of a committee to review the viability of deregionalizing District 18 and the second was a $50,000 cut from the town’s Open Space Acquisition Budget.
