During the closure of the Lymes' Senior Center, the Estuary Senior Center in Old Saybrook has offered to provide transportation to any senior who wishes to participate in their luncheon program.  Their luncheon also accepts $3 donations. Lymes’ Senior Center Closed Indefinitely Due to Well Water Contamination

Old Lyme Selectwoman Bonnie Reemsnyder announced this afternoon that the Lymes' Senior Center will be closed beginning Tuesday, Jan. 21, due to well water contamination. Both the Lyme and Old Lyme Town Halls and libraries will be closed tomorrow, Monday, Jan. 20, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.  Lyme-Old Lyme Public Schools will also be closed as will the landfill in Lyme, the transfer station in Old Lyme and the post offices in Old Lyme.
