OLD LYME – The Lyme-Old Lyme High School (LOLHS) track and field teams will host a pickleball tournament on Sunday, April 27, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Cross Lane Park.
There is space for up to 32 teams of two members, according to a press release. The event is open to the community. Matches will follow USA Pickleball rules and be played up to 15 points. To win, a team must lead by two points. Once a team loses, it will be eliminated from the tournament.
The cost is $20 per team and can either be paid in cash to Indoor and Outdoor Track Coach Alyssa Mercaldi at LOLHS or mailed to LOLHS, 69-2 Lyme Street Old Lyme CT, 06371 ATTN: Alyssa Mercaldi.
Teams are asked to register by completing this form.
Mercaldi explained that fundraisers help the teams purchase warm-up shirts and hold team bonding events.
