Death of Gail Barber Announced; Cherished her Old Lyme Roots, Graduate of OLHS in Class of 29 Students

OLD SAYBROOK—Gail M. Barber, 85, of Old Saybrook, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11th, at Ocean Meadows Memory Care in Clinton. Born in New London to John J. Molloy and Teresa Hausmann Molloy, Gail cherished her roots in Old Lyme, where she graduated from high school in a class of just 29 students.

Gail spent most of her working life at R. R. Donnelley in Old Saybrook as a buyer, retiring in 2001 after 27 years … Following her grandchildren’s achievements brought her endless happiness.

Gail is survived by her loving husband, William Barber; sons Stephen Fuller (Rosemary) and John Fuller (Susan); daughter Kristen Commander (Robert); and her grandchildren, Ryan Fuller (Georgia), Kasey Commander (Tyler), and Matthew Fuller …

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gail’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Way, Memphis, TN 38105.
