OLD LYME — On Sept. 18, the Old Lyme Town Band started its 49th season. Rehearsals are held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday evenings at Christ the King Church, 1 McCurdy Rd. in Old Lyme.
LymeLine readers are invited to join the band regardless of the instrument they play and their musical ability.
Five concerts will be held this season in December at various area locations, including Dec. 13, at the Katharine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center in Old Saybrook.
