LYME/OLD LYME — UPDATED 03/07: Old Lyme played a strong game against Parish Hill Friday night coming away with a remarkable 41-11 victory over Parish Hill.
The game played at Parish Hill saw Senior Megan Loflin score 15 points, make 15 rebounds and six steals while Junior Alexis Fenton notched 10 points and made four steals. Senior Ali Kyle added 8 points with 8 steals.
After the game, Coach Bugbee commented, “Overall, this was a solid team performance for sure. Offensively we need to be better as a team going forward,” noting, “But defensively we were strong. This proved to be very problematic for Parish Hill.”
Bugbee also pointed out, “We are the only Shoreline Conference Team remaining in the Class S Tournament. Shoreline Conference Teams Valley Regional, Cromwell and East Hampton remain in the Class M Tournament.”
The girls now face #15 Immaculate at Old Lyme on Tuesday with a 7 p.m. tip-off.
