Join a Lyme-Old Lyme Community Forum To Learn What Life is Like for LOL Youth, Tonight

March 29, 2022 by Admin

What is it really like to be an LOL student right now? Find out at the March 29 Community Forum.

LYME/OLD LYME — On Tuesday, March 29, Lymes’ Youth Service Bureau (LYSB) and the Lyme-Old Lyme (LOL) Community Coalition host a LOL Community Forum titled, Our Youth, Substances, and Mental Health. The event will be held at 7 p.m. at LOL Middle School. All are welcome.

Join to hear results from the LOL Youth Survey with the LYSB Youth Panel. Youth in grades 6 to 12 were recently surveyed about their attitudes and behaviors toward alcohol, drugs, and mental health.

Topics which will be covered include:
• What are LOL kids really doing and why?
• What is it like to be an LOL student right now?
• How does this information impact the community?
• How will the community respond?

This is an invaluable opportunity to hear directly from LOL youth about their lives in Lyme and Old Lyme.
