Ledge Light Holds COVID Booster Clinic TODAY in Groton

November 19, 2021 by Admin

NEW LONDON/LYME/OLD LYME — Based on Governor Lamont’s announcement Wednesday, Ledge Light Health District (LLHD) is holding a COVID booster clinic today, Friday, Nov. 19, at the Groton City Municipal Building.

In an email sent Thursday regarding the latest COVID-19 data, LLHD Director of Health Steven Mansfield states, “The number of new COVID cases within our jurisdiction has increased significantly, which is consistent with an increase in COVID cases statewide, according to DPH. Unfortunately, we expect this trend to continue as we move into the holiday season.”

He continues, “LLHD continues to focus our vaccination efforts on the homebound population and providing boosters to individuals who were vaccinated more than 6 months ago.”

Moderna and J&J vaccinations will be available to qualified individuals per the details below.
