The Connecticut State Legislature recently approved increasing the State’s recycling goal from the current rate of 40 percent to 60 percent by the year 2024. In response, the Town of Old Lyme is evaluating its recycling and trash services, and considering options to motivate residents to reduce trash through increased recycling.
The Town of Old Lyme has created a survey to gather information about your household trash and recycling habits. It will take less than five minutes to complete and will provide town officials with valuable information on which to base future policy.
