Lyme Voters Approve $11.37 Million Budget; Finance Board Keeps Tax Rate Flat

LYME–About 55 people came out Thursday evening to approve the $11.37 million 2025-26 budget and raise the cap on a tax break for elderly and disabled residents.  Members of the Board of Finance gathered immediately following the 25-minute Town Meeting to set the tax rate at 14.5 mills. LYME—The $11.37 million proposed 2025-26 budget will be among the items up for a vote at the Town Meeting on Thursday, May 22, at 6:30 p.m., in the Lyme Town Hall, 480 Hamburg Rd.
