
OLD LYME — Duck River Garden Club is participating in National Garden Week, which runs from Sunday, June 1- through Saturday, June 7. The Club is hosting events daily to celebrate. All are welcome to every event.
SUNDAY, JUNE 1 – 11:30 a.m.
Dedication of a new birdhouse donation at the Old Lyme Historical Society at 55 Lyme Street, Old Lyme
MONDAY, JUNE 2 – 7 p.m.
Flower arrangement installation and nature book donation at the East Lyme Library at 39 Society Road, Niantic
TUESDAY, JUNE 3 – 1 p.m.
Beginner Bonsai demonstration by Bonsai expert Mark Comstock at the Lymes’ Senior Center at 26 Town Woods Rd., Old Lyme
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 4 – 4 p.m.
Dedication of the new Miracle League garden site behind Flanders Elementary School 167 Boston Post Road, East Lyme
THURSDAY, JUNE 5 – 10 a.m.
Create and take a mini-flower arrangement at the Lymes’ Senior Center at 26 Town Woods Road, Old Lyme
FRIDAY, JUNE 6 – throughout the day
The Duck River Garden Club Outreach Day when garden club members spread the joy of gardening by giving flowers to neighbors in Old Lyme and East Lyme
SATURDAY, JUNE 7 – 1 p.m.
Children’s garden activity at the Lyme Art Association at 90 Lyme St., Old Lyme
The Duck River Garden Club invites everyone who attends these events to take and share photos of their National Garden Week celebrations.
