LYME, CT — Come pick out that special gift for mom or browse the selection of heirloom tomatoes, annuals, vegetables, herbs, hanging baskets, geraniums, hydrangeas, perennials and shrubs at the Lyme Grange’s annual Spring Plant Sale this weekend.
The sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 10 at the historic Lyme Grange building on Rt 156 and Sterling City Road, rain or shine.

Children are welcome to the “junior gardener” area where they can learn how to mix potting soil and pot their very own pumpkin seedling or sunflower to take home. They can also create a “plant waterer” from a plastic bottle.
Attendees will be able to take home information about how to create their own pollinator garden.
All proceeds from the spring plant sale benefit the Lyme Grange’s ongoing building upgrades and future agricultural programs for the community.
Coffee, beverages, and some baked goods will be available for purchase.
