LYME — Pete Govert, executive director of East Haddam Land Trust, will be the featured speaker at Hadlyme Public Hall’s annual meeting on Sunday, April 27, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.
In his talk on “Lakes, Rivers, and Open Spaces,” Govert will relate how land trusts across the lower Connecticut River estuary have been pioneers in acquiring unique woodlands, fields, lakes, rivers and open spaces for public benefit .
Refreshments will be served. Hadlyme Public Hall is located at 63 Ferry Road.
