
OLD LYME—On Sunday, April 6, from 9:30 to 10:20 a.m.,. Saint Ann’s Episcopal Church in Old Lyme presents Terri Eickel, Executive Director of the Interreligious Eco-Justice Network (IREJN), in a talk entitled “How Then Shall We Live?” She will speak at Saint Ann’s Griswold Forum.
Every major religious tradition speaks of the importance of caring for our planet and all of its inhabitants. Committed to justice and grounded in hope, Connecticut’s IREJN is a unifying voice dedicated to positive, hopeful action on behalf of the earth.
Interreligious Eco-Justice Network’s mission is “To inspire and equip Connecticut’s religious communities and their spiritual allies to protect our planet through education, engagement, and advocacy.”
Eickel will present ways to reflect upon and deepen religious and spiritual practices, life-styles and civic engagement that will foster the mutual enhancement of Earth and all living beings.
