OLD LYME—On Sunday, Nov. 10, at 9:30 a.m., Saint Ann’s Episcopal Church presents a talk by Cathy Zall, Executive Director of New London’s Homeless Hospitality Center (NLHHC) as part of Saint Ann’s ongoing Griswold Forum of community presentations.
Encouraging a deeper understanding of the work of the NLHHC in our shoreline community, Zall will describe the work of the Center as well as talk about ways for people to become engaged with the center as volunteers.
In its work as a nonprofit on the Eastern Connecticut shoreline, NLHHC serves as a place for safety and hospitality for the area’s unhoused citizens; it also provides a bridge to permanent housing. In short, many lives are saved and turned around through the work of this 18-year-old nonprofit.
Saint Ann’s invites all to come to the presentation to learn more about this vital resource in our area.
Refreshments will be served.
