LYME — In the early evening on the last Sunday of every month, the Lyme Public Hall is the place to be if you enjoy listening to live music.
On Sunday, Sept. 29, subsequent to their highly successful concert last year, The Meadows Brothers from Chester, Conn. will entertain from 4 to 6 p.m. The Boston Globe describes the Meadows Brothers’ style thus, saying, “Dustin and Ian Meadows prove that roots music is an unending resource, turning early influences gleaned from The Band and Gillian Welch, into an engagingly twangy sibling sound all their own.”
All are invited to this festive gathering featuring acoustic roots music with folk, country and blues influences.
Refreshments will be available with no cover charge.
After enjoying The Meadows Brothers, come back at the same time every last Sunday of the month for a new live musical experience, which is free to the public.
The Lyme Public Hall is at 249 Hamburg Rd. (Route 156), Lyme CT.
