Death Announced of Norman Misheloff, 99, of Old Lyme; Served in US Army as Radio-Operator/Gunner on B24 Bomber in WWII

OLD LYME — Norman Misheloff was born Aug. 26, 1925, in New Haven. He died Jan. 11, 2024. Norman was the only child of Herman and Ada Misheloff and husband to the late Lillian Collins, whom he was married to for many years.

In his senior year of high school, Norman answered the call to serve his country in World War II by joining the United States Army. There, he flew as a radio-operator-mechanic and gunner on a B24 bomber. Norman later joined the Army Reserves, serving our country for an additional 16 years …
