William Folland says
It was evident from last nights debate that the Old Lyme Republican Town Committee has once again endorsed a candidate for First Selectman that would setback positive changes being made by Bonnie Reemsnyder who is seeking a third term as First Selectperson. Distortions and outright lies made by Republican candidate Carter during the debate was disturbing and fortunately corrected by candidate Reemsnyder. Joining Carter’s bandwagon of distortions was the Republican candidate for second selectman Skip Sibley, who seemed to complain more about his inability to balance his personnel obligations with the duties of Second Selectman. As a registered Republican I urge all reasonable and like minded voters in Old Lyme to once again reject my parties candidate for First Selectperson. We cannot return to that type of turmoil and incompetent leadership that was present prior to the election of Bonnie Reemsnyder.
