Coach Paul Gleason is delighted with the start his Lyme-Old Lyme High School girl’s soccer team have made this season. The team, captained by seniors Hannah Behringer, Lexi Sibley and Jess Lee, is going to be a force to be reckoned with this year comprising a remarkable combination of seven seniors and 12 freshman on the team.
To date, the Wildcats have won four games, tied one and lost three games.
This week has been an extraordinary one since the girls defeated Morgan High School of Clinton 5-0 on Tuesday and then repeated the performance on Thursday beating North Branford by an identical score.
The ‘Cats play East Hampton tomorrow (away) and then take on Valley Regional at Dodd Stadium at 4:30 p.m. next Tuesday, Oct. 8.
Go Wildcats!
