Morgan White of Old Lyme was named All-Area Boy’s Tennis Player of the Year by The Day newspaper yesterday.
White, who graduated from Lyme-Old Lyme High School this past June, also received a Career Achievement Award from the Wildcat Booster Club at the high school’s Summer Sports Banquet.
White will attend the University of Hartford in the fall where, not surprisingly, he will be a member of the school’s Division 1 tennis team.
