Despite a slow start and going behind early in the game, the Wildcats ultimately battled to a tense 68-57 victory in Saturday evening’s match-up against the Haddam-Killingworth Cougars.

With rarely more than a point between them through the first half after the initial faltering, the ‘Cats finally began to pull away in the fourth quarter thanks to some on target three-point shooting by Matti Fuller, who tallied a total of 20 points — nine of them coming in the final quarter.
