Welcome to the New LymeLine!

February 13, 2013 by admin

We are delighted to introduce a new format for LymeLine today.  As you become used to it, we hope you will find many improvements over our previous version, but please bear with us as we complete the transition and add more articles, columns and items to our editorial content and events to our new calendar.

This is our decade year and we are very proud to be one of the oldest, continuously published online community newspapers in the country.  We will be hosting a community celebration of that milestone later in the year.

Please let us know your thoughts on our new look and thank you for being such loyal readers for, in many cases, 10 years!

Congratulations on growing for a decade – you have made your site an essential Old Lyme presence. I love the new look – much quicker to negotiate. Is there any way that you can make larger print available? It would be very helpful to us “oldies” to be able to choose a larger size font.

(having just made this comment – I found it very difficult to figure out where to click to find the boxes – particularly odd was finding the name needed to go to the LEFT – never encountered that before)

I like it — well done! I hope now you will be more up-to-date with obits and property transfers.

    Hi there from Germany !
We are one of those loyal readers ( and yet in Germany) for the last ten years, you mentioned introducing the new Lime Line the other day.
Congratulation for the last ten years of successfully publishing the oldest community online newspaper..
I don’t really remember how I found you in internet but I do recall how happy we were finding you almost a decade ago!
Lime Line has always been a good bridge to old memories for us.
Living in the early 70th in New London for quite a while with very close friends in Old Lyme, my wife and I learned to love your town, its real nice and friendly people and beautiful vicinity.
It has always been a great pleasure for us reading Lyme Line in the previous version.
We are quite sure to do so furthermore with the new one.
Good Luck to you people, you are doing a great job.

Cannot believe it’s been 10 years!! I am one of the first subscribers and I’ve enjoyed every edition of this e-paper! We moved far away recently, to Niantic – LOL, and I plan on staying a loyal reader.
Congratulations, Olwen and the LymeLine staff – you all do a great job!
