Ally Gleason’s Boys Win Home Opener Against Wheeler

OLD LYME — Allyson Gleason made a strong statement in her opening home game as the new coach of the Wildcats when Old Lyme soundly defeated Wheeler 4-0 Thursday afternoon.

Richard Damiano was first to score for the Wildcats with an assist from Jesper Selberberg. The ‘Cats second goal was put away by Michael Milazzo with an assist from Avery Welch.  Jackson Warren scored the third goal off an assist from Michael Milazzo and the final goal came from Rory Cavicke with an assist from Richard Damiano.

Ryan Tetreault made one save in the Old Lyme goal while Bowen Baker notched seven saves for Wheeler.

Old Lyme is now 3-0-0 overall and 1-0-0 in the Shoreline Conference.
