Last Thursday evening marked the second year that Coffee’s Country Market has held their Holiday Social and Tasting event. Approximately 100 people attended the event held at Coffee’s on Boston Post Rd. in Old Lyme to enjoy a variety of food samples.
The tasting is more of a “Meet and Greet” and social event for friends and families to come out and try the many delicious foods presented by the Coffees market as well as local businesses.
Some local businesses also set up sampling food tables at the tasting including Two Cousins Biscotti (photo above), The Chocolate Shell, Stonewall Kitchen and Eleanor’s Green Mountain Cheese.
Cush’s Homegrown Salsa also offered samplings of their wares at a table.
Ken Coffee gave a warm, heartfelt thank you to all that attended and invited everyone back next year requesting that the guests should, “Pass the word, bring your friends.”
In addition to the tasty foods, great live music was provided by the Liquid Groove Quartet (photo above).
