Take a Champlain South Open Space Hike and/or Join ‘Hiker’s Happy Hour’ at Old Lyme Inn, Sept. 2

The 4:15 p.m. walk will be followed by Happy Hour at 5 p.m. at the Old Lyme Inn, featuring discounted drinks from 5–6 p.m.

OLD LYME, CT – The Old Lyme Land Trust, Old Lyme Open Space Commission and Old Lyme Inn are hosting another “Hiker’s Happy Hour” at the Champlain South preserve on Wednesday, Sept. 2.

Wildlife biologist Kris Vagos will lead a talk on mushrooms.

The guided walk will leave at 4:15 p.m. from the trailhead at the end of Meetinghouse Lane for an easy walk through the woodlands. All are welcome.

After the hike, participants will regroup at the Old Lyme Inn at 5 p.m. for discounted drinks from 5 to 6 p.m. You do not need to hike to attend the Happy Hour.

Hikers should wear comfortable walking shoes and bring insect repellent. The walk will be held rain or shine.
