Two Lyme Tag Sales Set for Sept. 12, Donations Still Needed
The Lyme Public Hall and Lyme Grange are collecting donations for their annual tag sale to support local programs and historic buildings.

LYME, CT – The Lyme Public Hall and Lyme Grange remind residents that donations are still being accepted for their annual George House Tag Sale and Grange Toy Tag Sale on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The George House Tag Sale will be held at Lyme Public Hall, 249 Hamburg Road, while the Grange Toy Tag Sale will take place just down the road at the Lyme Grange, 2 Sterling City Road.
The public hall is seeking good quality donations, including wood furniture, tools, antiques, jewelry, housewares, fine china and linens, sporting goods, musical instruments and artwork. Proceeds support programming, building maintenance and Lyme’s Local History Archives.
The Grange is accepting children’s toys and equipment, but no clothing. Proceeds from the toy sale benefit Grange programs and help maintain and preserve the Grange Building and Hamburg Fairgrounds.
Donation drop off dates at both locations are set for Saturday, Sept. 5, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Monday, Sept. 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Tuesday, Sept. 8, from 5 to 8 p.m.; and Wednesday, Sept. 9, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Volunteers are also needed to help stage and price items before the sales.
Lyme Public Hall members whose memberships are current as of the end of August are invited to an Easy Access Sale from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11. Membership renewals must be postmarked by Aug. 30 or completed online by Aug. 31 to qualify.
