Letter to the Editor: Labriola Supports Values That Will Make 23rd District Flourish

To the Editor:

I am proud to support Barbara Labriola for state representative of the 23rd District.

Barbara and I share a strong belief in the values that make our community such a wonderful place to live. We have a high regard for efficient, effective and functional government; high-performing schools; a deep respect for our natural resources; public safety; a vibrant business community; and, ultimately, a great quality of life for all.

These are not simply ideals – they are the foundations of a strong and thriving community. We believe strongly that these values should flourish in Old Saybrook and throughout the 23rd District.

Barbara understands that protecting what makes our communities special while addressing the challenges we face statewide requires thoughtful leadership, collaboration and a willingness to listen. She will bring that perspective to Hartford and work to ensure that the interests and priorities of our local communities remain front and center.

I believe Barbara will be a strong advocate for the people of the 23rd District, and I am honored to support her on Nov. 3.
