Letter to the Editor: Labriola Knows Good Government Requires Teamwork

To the Editor:

I strongly support Barbara Labriola for State Representative of the 23rd District because I believe she understands something that is often lost in politics: good government requires teamwork.

Barbara believes that working across the aisle can make good ideas even better and ultimately deliver stronger results for the people we represent. She understands that collaboration – not combative rhetoric or divisiveness – should be at the heart of solving problems.

That approach is particularly important in Hartford. Our communities have real challenges, and we need a representative who will listen, bring people together and focus on finding practical solutions rather than creating more division.

Having served our community as Old Saybrook treasurer, Barbara has demonstrated her ability to set high standards and make thoughtful decisions. I believe she will bring that same approach to Hartford.

Barbara will be a strong voice for the 23rd District while also being willing to listen to those with different perspectives. That is the kind of leadership I believe our district deserves, and why I will be voting for Barbara Labriola on Nov. 3rd.
