‘Ladies Who Stitch’ Bring Jeans & Sweaters Sale to Old Lyme
A companion to the White Elephant Sale, this event features women’s jeans and wool sweaters to benefit the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme’s humanitarian work.
OLD LYME, CT – If you’re looking for women’s jeans or sweaters, the Ladies Who Stitch at the First Congregational Church have the sale for you.
The group will host their fourth annual Women’s Jeans & Sweaters Sale throughout September, offering gently used women’s clothing at bargain prices while raising money for the church’s Board of Missions.
The sale features women’s jeans and wool sweaters that were collected during the church’s White Elephant Sale intake but could not be accommodated at the larger July event. Organizers say this year’s sale will offer a bigger selection than in previous years.
All items will be priced at either $5 or $10.
The sale will be held in the Sheffield Auditorium at the church on:
- Saturday, Sept. 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Sunday, Sept. 13, from noon to 3 p.m.
- Monday, Sept. 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Saturday, Sept. 19, from noon to 3 p.m.
The Board of Missions supports more than 75 local and international charities each year.
