OLD SAYBROOK, CT – The community is invited to the table to help alleviate food insecurity among older adults on Sept. 19, when the Estuary hosts its annual fundraiser for Meals on Wheels.

“Delivering Hope” will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. at The Estuary, 220 Main St., Old Saybrook.

The organization in a news release said the event will bring the community together to address food insecurity among seniors and provide nutritious meals to older adults in the region.

Guests can enjoy dinner, drinks, dancing and a silent auction while supporting Meals on Wheels’ meal preparation and delivery services. Funds raised through ticket sales, an auction and donations will directly support those programs.

The Estuary provides nutrition, transportation, social services, activities and fitness programs for residents in Chester, Clinton, Essex, Deep River, Killingworth, Lyme, Old Lyme, Old Saybrook and Westbrook.

The event’s Platinum Sponsors are longtime supporters Ascend Bank, the Community Foundation of Middlesex County and Essex Bank.

Individual tickets are $100 and include dinner and an open bar. Table sponsorships of $1,000 each include eight tickets and recognition in the event program.

Tickets are available at yourestuary.org/special-events.
