Letter to the Editor: Labriola Will Deliver Common Sense Solutions
An Old Saybrook resident says Barbara Labriola will prioritize local control over a one-size-fits-all policies in the state legislature.
To the Editor:
I’m writing in support of Barbara Labriola for state representative because I’ve seen firsthand her dedication to our community and the people who live here.
I appreciate Barbara’s commitment to local control. Our communities and schools know their own needs best. Barbara will be a representative who will listen to local residents rather than automatically accept one-size-fits-all policies from Hartford.
We all recognize that the cost of living in Connecticut is way too high. Barbara’s priorities directly address our concerns regarding the state’s high cost of electricity and the unnecessary (and never ending) municipal mandates that contribute to our higher property taxes. Barbara will deliver common sense, practical solutions to solving issues.
Barbara understands that her responsibility is to the people she represents and will work to make Connecticut a more affordable place to live, work and raise a family.
I hope you’ll join me in supporting Barbara Labriola for state representative for the 23rd District.
