VFW Post 1467 Benefit Supports Vets in Need, Oct. 10

The Lyme-Old Lyme VFW’s annual benefit dinner on Oct. 10 will feature dinner, music and a mystery box fundraiser supporting veterans’ programs and services.

LYME/OLD LYME, CT – The Lyme-Old Lyme Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1467 will hold its annual benefit dinner on Saturday, Oct. 10 with food, music and a mystery box fundraiser supporting veterans’ programs and services.

The event will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at Christ the King Parish Hall, 1 McCurdy Road, Old Lyme.

Proceeds support the Vets in Need outreach program, including programs for local area veterans, as well as Connecticut Department of Veterans Affairs programs in Rocky Hill, the West Haven VA Medical Center, Fisher House Connecticut and Giant Steps art and music therapy program.

Mystery box tickets will be available for $25 each. Buyers will select a wrapped box containing a surprise gift. Donated items and services for the mystery boxes are secured by VFW members.

Dinner reservations are required and cost $75 per person, payable in advance by check or Venmo.
