With 11 weeks from auditions to curtain call, students, staff, and theater professionals have been working to bring a classic musical comedy to the Lyme-Old Lyme stage.

Musical Masterworks said the trio of acclaimed artists brings “expressive depth” to the intimate chamber setting inside the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme.
The group was founded in 1997 and has grown to more than 80 members who gather at Monday evening rehearsals for two spring concerts and two Christmas concerts.
The Afro-Cuban jazz celebration includes Fast on vibraphone, Jorge Fuentes on the congas, Matt Dwonszyk on bass, Amy Milan on keyboards and renowned percussionist Anthony Carrillo on the bongos, timbales and other percussion.

Con Brio Choral Society, under the direction of Dr. Chris Shepard, will feature the music of English composer and conductor Sir John Rutter.
Musicians of all ages will bring holiday favorites to the Lymes’ Senior Center on Sunday for a free concert by the Old Lyme Town Band.
