The traditional and fun Sound View Independence Day parade steps off at 10 a.m. The route includes Hartford, Swan and Portland Avenues. A VFW Honor Guard, decorated bikes, floats, balloons, a marching band, police, fire and ambulance trucks will all contribute to the unique, small-town experience.
