Add EventThe traditional and fun Sound View Independence Day parade steps off at 10 a.m. The route includes Hartford, Swan and Portland Avenues. A VFW Honor Guard, decorated bikes, floats, balloons, a marching band, police, fire and ambulance trucks will all contribute to the unique, small-town experience.
The day begins at 10 a.m. with the Fourth of July Parade, which travels down Cove Road near Camp Claire, crosses Route 156 and ends at the Lyme Grange, 2 Sterling City Road.
