Cellist Mike Block and Pianist Jeffrey Kahane Join Violinist Tessa Lark in Old Lyme, Feb. 7 & 8

Old Lyme, CT — Musical Masterworks continues its 2025–26 season with a weekend of chamber music on February 7 and 8 at the First Congregational Church of Old Lyme.

The concerts feature cellist Mike Block, pianist Jeffrey Kahane, and Musical Masterworks Artistic Director Tessa Lark on violin. Lark in a news release said the trio of acclaimed artists brings “expressive depth” to the intimate chamber setting. 

Performances will be held Saturday, Feb. 7, at 5:00 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 8, at 3:00 p.m. 

Musical Masterworks describes the church at 4 Lyme St. as an ideal venue for chamber music, with warm acoustics and opportunities for close connections between performers and the audience.
