Lyme Urges Residents to Sign Up for New Emergency Alert System as Nor’easter Hits Area
Amid heavy rain and strong winds, Lyme officials urge residents to enroll in Lyme Notify, a new alert system for emergency updates by phone, text and email.
LYME, CT – With a nor’easter impacting the area this weekend, Lyme officials are encouraging residents to enroll in Lyme Notify, the town’s new emergency alert system.
The Everbridge service delivers time-sensitive information directly to subscribers by phone call, text message or email, including road closures, power outages, evacuation notices and other emergency updates.
Town officials said signing up takes less than five minutes.
Residents can register at Lyme Notify.
