Sound View Celebrates 250 Years of Independence With Traditional Flair

Families, friends, pets and neighbors filled the streets on July 4 for the annual Sound View Beach Association parade.

OLD LYME, CT – It was hot, it was festive, and it was unmistakably Sound View. The annual Independence Day parade brought neighbors, families, pets and plenty of patriotic flair to the streets as the Sound View Beach Association continued its summer holiday tradition in the nation’s semiquincentennial year.
