OLD LYME, CT – The Shoreline Community Center at Sound View Beach is bringing donuts, bingo, live jazz and a pasta dinner to the beach – and everyone is invited.

Get your freshly made doughnuts on Saturdays, Sundays and select holidays through Sept. 7, from 7 to 10 a.m. or until sold out. Donuts can be purchased at the community center or preordered online at the Sound View Beach Association website. All proceeds support the Shoreline Community Center.

Make Wednesdays your lucky day as bingo continues through Aug. 26, with doors opening at 6 p.m. and games beginning at 7 p.m. Admission is $17 and includes 20 games, including 17 regular games and three special games with larger prizes.

The community center will also host JAZZ@TheVue, a series of live jazz sessions featuring local musicians on piano, guitar, bass and drums. Sessions are scheduled for July 14 and 28, Aug. 11 and 25, and Sept. 15 and 29, from 7 to 9 p.m. Guests may bring refreshments, enjoy the music and dance. A $5 donation is requested to support the center.

The summer schedule will conclude with a pasta dinner fundraiser on Saturday, Aug. 8. Doors will be open from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The all-you-can-eat dinner includes pasta, meatballs, salad, bread, desserts and coffee. Donations are $15 for adults and $7 for children under age 8.
