Lymes’ Senior Center Upcoming Events on August 4, 7, 11 & 12

OLD LYME, CT – Lymes’ Senior Center will host a Propagation & Plant Swap program as part of their Gardening Series at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4. Attendees will learn about plant propagation techniques, and how to start new plants from cuttings, divisions, and seeds. The program will be followed by a plant swap, where attendees can share healthy starts and discoveries with one another! The cost is free for members, $10 for non-members, 55 years of age or better.

The Senior Center will also host a Sun-Sational Summer Soiree sponsored by Reynolds’ Subaru from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday, August 7. Dance to music by DJ Joe and enjoy artisan cheeses, meats, fresh fruit and sweets by Beyond the Board. Attendance is free but pre-registration is required by emailing events@reynolds1859.com.

Upcoming presentations from the Senior Center will include Bone Health for Osteoporosis at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, and Navigating Today’s Real-Estate Market as a Senior at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 12.
