Lymes’ Senior Center Summer Concert Series Returns Thursdays in July
All ages from all over are invited to the Lymes’ Senior Center for free concerts spanning Doo Wop to pop through July 30.

LYME/OLD LYME, CT – The Lymes’ Senior Center will once again host its annual Summer Sounds Concert Series with free outdoor evening concerts open to all ages on the senior center grounds.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and arrive early for free ice cream at 5:30 p.m., with concerts beginning at 6 p.m.
The event will be moved indoors in the event of rain or excessive heat. Concerts run from 6-7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
July 2 – Take Two & Call Me in the Morning
A vocally driven group of physicians and healthcare advocates performing classic rock and pop from the 1960s through the 2000s. Due to the extreme heat advisory, the concert will be held inside the senior center. Seating is available for the first 150 people, with additional space for those who bring their own chairs.
July 9 – Red Light Band
A five-piece modern and classic rock dance band known for high-energy performances spanning five decades of party music.
July 16 – The Cartells
A returning favorite featuring jazz, swing, rock, Motown and R&B. The Lyme-Old Lyme Lions Club will host a BBQ beginning at 4:30 p.m., with proceeds benefiting its scholarship fund.
July 23 – The Corvettes Doo Wop Revue
A high-energy Doo Wop tribute group performing across the East Coast with a modern take on classic harmonies. This concert runs from 6:00–7:15 p.m.
July 30 – Four in a Row
A Connecticut Shoreline group formed in 2024 featuring themed sets that highlight four consecutive songs from iconic rock bands, performed by a five-member lineup.
