OLD LYME, CT – The annual Mother’s Day Weekend Plant Sale hosted by the Duck River Garden Club will be held at a new location.

After years on Halls Road, the sale will move to the grounds of the Lyme Art Association at 90 Lyme St.

The sale is scheduled for Friday, May 8, from noon to 6 p.m., and Saturday, May 9, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Widely regarded as a kick-off to the gardening season, it frequently draws large crowds.

All proceeds from the sale benefit ongoing civic projects, which include scholarships, a garden therapy program for older adults, holiday wreaths for public buildings, public education and maintenance of plants at town-owned locations.
