Calling All Student Artists: Shoreline Arts Alliance Invites Entries for Annual Competition

High school students in Lyme, Old Lyme and across the Shoreline region are invited to enter the 42nd Annual Future Choices visual arts competition.

MADISON, CT – Shoreline Arts Alliance invites high school students from towns including Lyme and Old Lyme to enter its 42nd Annual Future Choices Visual Arts Competition and Exhibition.

Students may submit work in ceramics, drawing, digital media, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and video. Entries, which must be submitted by the artist or a teacher, will be accepted through March 27.

The exhibition will be held at Flat Rock Gallery, 314 Flat Rock Place, Westbrook, from April 8–11 and April 22–27.

The competition is open to students in Middlesex County, Lyme, Old Lyme, East Lyme, Salem, Madison, Guilford, North Branford, Branford and East Haven.

Selected works will be exhibited at the gallery, with some award winners featured on the organization’s social media. The show will also include artwork by regional art educators. Cash prizes and special honors, including Best in Show and the Judy Streeter Outstanding School Award, will be presented.
