Lyme Public Hall Welcomes Moving Target Band and Joe Standart Photography for an Evening of Music & Art, Tonight

The Ivoryton-based group features an eclectic repertoire of music spanning the 1930s to more recent times.

LYME, CT – On Sunday, Nov. 30 from 4 to 6 p.m., Lyme Public Hall’s final Last Sunday Live Music performance of the year will feature Moving Target Band, a local Ivoryton-based group with an eclectic repertoire of music spanning the 1930s to more recent times.

The event promises a wide variety of songs, from Django Reinhart to Neil Young.

Attendees will be able to view an exhibition of selected works from WE ARE — A Nation of Immigrants, a public art installation of large-scale photography by nationally-recognized local photographer Joe Standart.

Standart is a champion of using photography and the arts to impact individuals and communities for the better, according to Lyme Public Hall. The works have been exhibited at The Hotchkiss School, the Symposium on Immigration with Chris George in 2019 and on the New Haven Green in 2018.

All are welcome. Organizers invite attendees to bring their own beverages and snacks.

A $5 donation to support the Hall is suggested.

The Lyme Public Hall is located at 249 Hamburg Road (Route 156).
