Vote Today, It’s (Finally) Election Day

LYME/OLD LYME — On Tuesday, Nov. 5, Connecticut State Elections will be held.
Polling locations in Old Lyme and Lyme are respectively the Lyme-Old Lyme Middle School gymnasium located at 53 Lyme St. for Old Lyme residents and Lyme Town Hall at 480 Hamburg Rd. for Lyme residents. The polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Votes will be cast for Presidential and Vice-Presidential electors, United States Senator, Representative in Congress, State Senator, State Representative, and Registrar of Voters.
Voters will also be asked to vote on the following proposed Amendment to the Constitution of Connecticut, a vote of “Yes” being a vote for approval, and a vote of “No” being one for disapproval: Shall the Constitution of the State be amended to permit the General Assembly to allow each voter to vote by absentee ballot?
