LYME/OLD LYME — In light of the current Coronavirus situation, two local stores have changed their practices to help our community. Both emphasize that their overriding concern is to keep everyone safe by minimizing risks during these uncertain times while continuing to value all their customers.
Coffee’s Country Market in Old Lyme will be offering delivery service to anyone in the Old Lyme/Lyme area for no extra charge.
Coffees is also respectfully asking anyone who is not feeling well to send a friend or family member into the store for any of the unwell person’s needs. If you do not have anyone to fill that role, call the store and they may be able to help.
Hadlyme Country Market in Hadlyme is taking the following measures:
- Customers will no longer require you to sign our screens with your hand, but will do so for you with your permission.
- The owners commit to inform customers if they are feeling even the slightest bit under the weather and will expect the same from you in return.
- If customers feel unwell, call ahead and the Market will be happy to put your order in a box on the porch for you to pick up. The store is there for you and the owners will work with you for all your Market needs.

Great stores; employees, owners… Good solutions, glad they are in our community.
