James is a contributing photographer whose “Earthscapes” series highlights landscapes in and around Lyme and Old Lyme. A passion for art brought the Meriden native to the New Haven area, where he graduated from Paier College of Art and spent the next forty some years as a graphic designer and photographer. In 2003, James and his wife, Mary, moved to the Old Saybrook shoreline, where he continues to pursue interests in local history, watercolor painting, photography, and design. He currently serves on the Old Lyme Historical Society Board of Trustees as chair of the Marketing and Publications Committee.
James Meehan presents a collection of quiet winterscapes captured on Tuesday as the rest of Lyme and Old Lyme busily dug out from snowfall not seen in years.
