Lyme Public Hall will host its annual Chowder Dinner Saturday, Nov. 7, from 5 to 7 p.m., with homemade clam and corn chowders, special-recipe coleslaw, salad, locally made breads and homemade apple crisp.

The dinner will be served at the historic hall, 249 Hamburg Road, with takeout also available. Chowders come with free refills, and a vegetarian option will be offered. Cider, coffee and tea is included.

Dinner is $20 for adults, $10 for children ages 7 to 10 and free for kids under 7.

This year, organizers are asking attendees to bring a can of food to support Shoreline Soup Kitchens.
